Yes! Every batch, every bar, is made by hand.
Your soap bar will last longer if you allow it to dry after use on a soap dish. By allowing the soap bar to dry, you will avoid it getting soft. You can collect your last little bits of soap and put them into our soap pouch, to make sure you can use every last bit of it.
According to the FDA, "There are very few true soaps on the market. Most body cleansers, both liquid and solid, are actually synthetic detergent products". But why? Cheap, easily manufactured, and easily makes suds, that's why.
Soap made naturally using the cold process method chemically forms natural glycerin which draws in moisture to the skin. Commercially made "soap" may not contain glycerin, and if it does, it's added from the by-product of another product.
It means that each batch, even each bar is unique. No one bar is exactly the same as another. We make our soap using the traditional cold process method. The bars are allowed to cure for several weeks ensuring a solid bar and a luxurious lather. Our bars are all shaped different and maintain their natural rustic design. Because our soap is all natural and things in nature can vary, so may the colors and design in our soap. Each batch takes on it's own personality, and we do not guarantee the bars will look the same batch to batch, only the ingredients and love that went it to making them will always be consistent.
If an order arrives damaged, please forward pictures of the damage, as well as a list of which items were damaged so that we may file the claim on your package and replace the items. No replacements will be sent without photos, as they are needed to submit the claim on your behalf
Because of the nature of our products, we are not able to resell any item once it leaves our shelves and we do not accept returns. By placing your order the product requested was made unavailable to other customers, and for those reasons once your order is placed we are unable to grant any cancellations or refunds, regardless if the order has shipped. We may offer you a store credit in lieu of a refund if the order is not custom made to your request, however, this is entirely at our discretion. We have this policy to maintain the integrity of our prices. Please contact us to inquire about ordering a sample size (if available) to test a product out before you purchase the full size.
Please notify us of any incorrect shipments or issues with your order within 30 days of receipt so we may make the necessary corrections.
Any adjustments made on the customer's behalf for coupon codes not being applied, requests for combined orders or adding to an order will be refunded in the form of a store credit only. Please email us prior to placing your order if there are any concerns.
